ZPP with a lecture at the meeting of the buildingSMART regional group Rhine-Ruhr

On the 28th of September 2017, the second lecture evening by the buildingSMART regional group Rhine-Ruhr took place in Duisburg. This time, the focus was on the application of the BIM methodology in concrete projects and the different perspectives of the respective BIM users.

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Inken Picht, M.Sc. shared her experiences with the BIM methodology from the eyes of a planner, with the example of the BIM pilot project "Fehmarn Sound Crossing variant bored tunnel" and challenged the listeners with the exciting question concerning the essential changes in everyday planning, in contest of the utilisation of the BIM methodology.

Once again, the event offered the opportunity to exchange and network on a regional basis, while an open dialogue between different BIM-involved professions ensued – between planners and clients, contractors and employers as well as BIM users and developers.
