Certifications Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Mr. Dr.-Ing. Tobias Rahm, BIM manager, and Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Joachim Meyer, management board, were successfully certified as BIM Professionals. The recognised advanced training degree developed by planen-bauen 4.0 at the Akademie der Ruhr-Universität Bochum encompasses important competencies in the fields of technology, processes, humans and guidelines for the application of BIM methodology for planning, building and operating.
Mr. Dr.-Ing. Felix Nagel, branch manager Berlin, was one of the first external BIM consultants certified by the DB Station & Service AG, thereby being eligible to render consulting services in the field of BIM methodology for this client. Starting January 2017, the DB Station & Service AG will be the first client to prescribe the application of the BIM methodology for all new projects.
