Chambala School, Malawi

Two years after the successful implementation of a well and a solar system on the roof of the Chambala Schools in the Kasungu Province, a team from engineers without borders is again on site to evaluate how the two projects were accepted. In addition, it will be examined whether the water quality of the well and the provision of electricity through the PV system will continue to be sufficient.

One further task on this trip is the preparation of a concept for the improvement of the sanitary installations. This is handled together with the local people and in interaction with short workshops on the topic of hygiene. A projekt blog provides up-to-date information about the application.

ZPP has been supporting this project of the Bochum Regional Group for several years now, and we wish the forces on site continued success in their work in 2019.
