ISARC 2018

From the 22^nd to the 25^th of July 2018, experts will be discussing new trends in the field of digitalisation in construction at the 35th International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction in central Berlin on the campus Wedding of the Technical University of Berlin. During a hackathon, future ideas for the industry will be developed in advance from the 20^th to the 22^nd of July.

The conference will be organised by Prof. Dr. Markus König and Dr. Jochen Teizer from the chair for information technology in the construction sector of the Ruhr-University Bochum, as well as Prof. Dr. Timo Hartmann from the institute for civil engineering at the Technical University of Berlin.

For years, ZPP has already been utilising BIM-experienced planners and validators for major projects in the fields of power plant engineering, tunnelling and underground line construction. A competence team consisting of BIM specialists is working on overarching tasks and further developments of the digitally interconnected processes, coordinates internally while keeping close contact to science. Therefore, we are very pleased to act as a sponsor for this event.
