Large profiles in northern Cologne undamaged

Over the course of the systematic planning of the repair measures for walkable sewers in the Cologne city area, the sewers in the city district Chorweiler were redeveloped as well.

The measure encompassed repairs for 182 sewer pounds with profile heights of 1,20 m to 2,60 m and a total length of 7,70 km. All processed rain and mixed water sewers are safe, tight and future-proof again. The load on the residents was reduced to an absolute minimum during the construction phase, through an intensive preparation of the traffic routing.

Connection repairs, crack injections, concrete redevelopments, joint redevelopments, brick works and reinforcement reinstatement, among others, were applied. The planning services were rendered by ZPP, starting from the engineer-wise condition assessment all through to the complete planning, up to the construction supervision.
