Light and water for schools in Malawi
ZPP supports Engineers Without Borders
In a newly constructed school complex with both a primary and secondary school in the Kasungu province of Malawi, the pupils are lacking sufficient amounts of water. Additionally, the schools are not illuminated because they are not being provided with electricity, due to the lack of a proper infrastructure.
ZPP supports this project initiated by Engineers Without Borders (EWB), regional group Bochum with its goal to improve the tuition conditions. On that point, it is vital to ensure the water supply and to provide the rooms of the secondary school with electric light.
Right now, the planning phase is running, with the implementation phase scheduled for a later time this year.
