Retirement after 51 years

From his apprenticeship as a construction draughtsman to his retirement as a Technician, Helmut Lipka has stayed loyal to his employer for 51 years – to the day. During this time, he experienced the change from the ink drawing to digital planning, all the while keeping pace with the times.

This extraordinary period was the occasion for Helmut Lipka to be seen off into retirement within a surprise celebration in the presence of his family. Prof. Speier (Management Board) and Mr Weefers (Works Council) thanked him for his loyalty, his dedication and his enthusiasm, values that have been a constant source of inspiration for younger colleagues.

We wish Helmut Lipka a happy and healthy retirement and – nobody ever leaves for
good – of course he will always be welcome in the future.
