ZPP BIM expertise: planning of the station platform roof.

With approximately 250.000 travelers a day, the station is one of the most highly frequented railway stations in Germany and with its more than 50 retailers, it certainly earns its status as a "Shopping Station". The station operation is to be affected as little as possible by the required work processes.

ZPP supports DB International GmbH with this challenging planning task, particularly regarding the construction management. ZPP overtook the service phases 1 and 2, along with the solution concepts for the renovation and redevelopment of the roofing of all six platforms.

As part of a pilot project of DB Station&Service, the complete planning is utilised via using the Building Information Modelling (BIM). Along with our clients, we are happy to break the mould, utilising new and pioneering ways of collaborative work, hereby also contributing our know-how.
