High Speed Line Zuid
Project planning and structural planning of Superstructure “Rheda 2000”
The Netherlands and Belgium connects a high speed railway line for railway traffic from Amsterdam to Antwerp. The lines speed in the concept is 300 km/h.
A major part of the Netherland line was erected on “settlement free plates” (reinforced concrete slabs on drilled piles) due to the bad subsoil properties. For a length of 15 km the slab track superstructure “Rheda 2000” was executed on earthworks and bridges. In the Belgian part a gravel track superstructure was used.
The commissioned service included the project planning and the structural planning of System Rheda 2000s track superstructure.
