Emergency and danger prevention plans according to RABT 2006

According to the guidelines for equipment and operation of street tunnels (RABT, issue 2006) the responsible operator has to create and continuously update emergency and danger prevention plans.

The emergency and danger prevention plan describes the measures planned in case of danger to limit the consequences of accidents. It provides for the optimal cooperation of police, fire brigade, rescue services and emergency task forces of the road construction administration by determining responsibilities and areas of authority.

Commission includes the creation of emergency and danger prevention plans including the creation of plans containing information for the fire brigade for 18 street tunnels in North Rhine-Westphalia.
